Israel Between the Lines has reported on a variety of topics for years, including Israeli innovations, environment, culture, economy, and more. We choose not to report on the conflict or enter into the world of politics. We believe that there are enough media outlets who cover it, and that there are so many more sides to Israel than what mainstream media commonly portrays. We choose to share about day-to-day Israeli life, – the social, the technological, the medical, the personal – in order to create a comprehensive picture of what it’s like to live in Israel.
Yet this week has been challenging. There is not only conflict with our neighbors, but also within our cities. The current situation is filtering into every person, every day, and is of deep concern. We as a people are grieving the loss of innocent life, the senseless violence, and the disintegration of tolerance, for all of our neighbors.
For every family who has lost a member. For every mother who has lost a child. For every child who has lost a parent. For every person who risks their life to save another. For the thousands who have been sacrificed during this war, our heart is with you.
Despite the pain we are feeling, our work remains true to our greater vision, to report stories on life in Israel, and to share our reality from the inside out. We wish peace and tranquility for all.
