The popular Israeli transit app, Moovit, is expanding globally, and will now serve over 720 million users in over 100 countries in 6 continents. While the app started off supporting consumers, it also provides a platform for over 3,000 cities using it to analyze, optimize, and track their urban mobility. Used by cities, governments and transit agencies, Moovit is supporting the growth of public transport with ease. The company, based in Ness Ziona, yet employing over 200 people internationally, has also just announced Uli Gal-Oz as the company’s new vice president of business development, who has already been fostering partnerships with the likes of companies like Uber and Microsoft.

Gal-Oz says that “Moovit’s dedication to simplifying urban mobility is unmatched and I’m thrilled to bring my experience to the team. I’m looking forward to growing with Moovit and maintaining its leadership in the urban mobility industry.”
