Sailing in the North

Israel’s coastal excursion in the north started operating this week. The pleasure cruise line links the two ports of Haifa and Acre which were partly renovated beforehand. The Tourism Ministry invested about NIS 11 m in the upgrading.

Passengers are able to enjoy the scenic route including views of the Carmel mountains, the coastline, downtown Haifa as well as the picturesque port of Acre and the marina in Acre.

The line departs from Acre at 10:00 and 15:00 and from Haifa at 11:00 and 16:00. The sailing takes 45 minutes. A one way trip costs NIS 30, NIS 55 for a two way ticket.

During the Sukkot holidays the pleasure cruise line operates two additional sailings per day:

From Acre to Haifa: 09:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 18:30

From Haifa to Acre: 11:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 20:00.
